Sydney Contemporary
Sydney Contemporary, in partnership with MA Financial Group, is set to be the largest iteration in its seven-year history. The prestigious art fair will feature 96 galleries from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia and Singapore, showcasing the work of over five hundred emerging and established contemporary artists. With a reputation as Australasia’s premier art fair, Sydney Contemporary has attracted over 25,000 visitors per edition and recorded more than $100 million in art sales since its inception in 2013. This year’s expanded program will include solo presentations by renowned artists such as Antony Gormley and Dhambit Munuŋggurr, as well as the participation of new galleries and the introduction of the PAPER sector, dedicated to works on paper. The comprehensive fair program will offer engaging activities, curated talks, installations and performances alongside the diverse range of artworks on display. The event will take place at Carriageworks, Australia’s largest multi-arts centre, from September 7–10, 2023.
