Vantage Point
Otomys continues its In Residence program with Vantage Point, a 10-day exhibition in Sydney this October that extends the Melbourne gallery’s exploration of art beyond the conventional white cube. Launched in 2025 with Still Point at Melbourne’s Villa Alba Museum, the annual initiative stages exhibitions in architecturally significant spaces, inviting new relationships between artworks and their surroundings. Rather than simply relocating exhibitions, In Residence examines how architecture shapes the experience of contemporary art, testing the dialogue between place, history and artistic practice. Otomys’s commitment to ambitious, site-responsive exhibition making fosters new encounters around the experience of the artwork. Vantage Point runs October 15 to 24.
