Lacoste Lab for the Chic Sportsman


From skateboarding to snowboarding, Lacoste Lab has created an array of sports paraphernalia for Spring 2013. Screaming with bright hues and embellished with the classic alligator logo, this collection for the company’s social-outreach division, Lacoste L!VE,  features products designed for the active, fashionable outdoorsman, from goggles and helmets to football and rugby balls. A contemporary take on the brand’s timeless style, Lacoste L!VE draws inspiration from cultural trends such as music and art. Design director Christophe Pillet describes the line as “edgy and graphic”: “Each of these plug and play artifacts express a colorful state of mind and is a radiant way to experience and explore the different beats on the city streets.” First unveiled during New York Fashion Week, Lacoste Lab for Lacoste L!VE has released their new collection through the Paris boutique Colette and can currently be purchased through their online store. Products will be available globally from March 2013.
