Combining a few of our favorite obsessions in the Art of Being Social, the clever French firm Ligne Blanche is producing tableware featuring the work of artists Robert Mapplethorpe, Jean-Michel Basquiat, René Magritte and Georg Baselitz. Made of Limoges porcelain, the eight-inch-diameter pieces are perfect for a collectors’ dinner after attending Frieze or Art Basel. Though they’re relatively rare, one can find them in the United States at such locations as New York’s Guggenheim and Whitney museums, Los Angeles’ MOCA and Miami Beach’s Alchemist. Approx. $86 per Limoges porcelain plate (diameter : 210 mm). Top left: Mapplethorpe self-portrait, 1980.
